Career Coaching with Sam Glatzer, ACC
Let's figure out
where you're headed and build a plan to get there.
Whether you're just getting started, navigating the in-between, or ready for what’s next, there’s a way to work together.
Where my clients have landed
Who this is for
You don't have to have all the answers.
People come to me at different moments. Some haven't figured out what they want yet. Some are in a role that no longer fits. Some know exactly where they're headed — they just can't get there alone. Whatever brought you here, there's a place to start.
For Professionals
You're not in crisis — you're just not where you want to be. Something has shifted. A role that no longer fits. A layoff. A pull toward something different. This is the space to get honest about what's next.

For Early Career
You are picking your major, you graduated, or you're about to — and the path isn't clear yet. You're smart, capable, and unsure where to aim. We figure that out first, then build the strategy to get you there.

For Parents
Whether they're a junior in high school starting to think about what comes after, or a recent grad who graduated without a plan, that's exactly where I come in. I work with students at every stage to find direction, build a strategy, and get moving. Sometimes the most useful thing a parent can do is bring in someone who isn't them.

Real people. Real directions found.
A music major who discovered strategy. A senior leader who learned to lead under pressure. A psychology major who found her voice as a copywriter. A professional convinced he needed a new job, realized it was burnout. A cultural anthropology major now working in film. A senior professional who lost her job landed at Saatchi & Saatchi. A graduate who didn't know where to start landed at Mr. Beast. A senior professional who lost his job found a home at Men in Blazers. A Brown University student who switched from pre-med to business. A tech sales professional pivoting into experiential. A graduate who needed to pivot landed at Mighty Union. A senior professional who knew her path wasn't right — pivoted to Havas. A recent graduate who knew she wanted strategy — landed her first role.
Different situations. One process. Always forward.

Meet Your Coach
Hi, I’m Sam!
I'm an ICF-certified coach (ACC), trained through Brown University's ACT program, and a former recruiter who spent 25 years placing talent at the best agencies and companies in the world — Wieden+Kennedy, Droga5, Apple, Google, and more.
I wear two hats in my work with clients.
One as coach, one as career strategist.
Let’s find what lights you up. Then let’s go get it.
Mindset
Values, strengths, what energizes you. The foundation has to be right before anything else makes sense.
Adventure
Real exploration — fields worth pursuing, people worth talking to. This is where direction starts to emerge.
Path
Turning clarity into reality, strategy, and momentum. Résumé, LinkedIn, outreach, interviews. The practical pieces, done right, once you know what you're building toward.
I would be honored to walk that path with you.
The process
Identity first.
Direction follows.
Most career advice skips straight to the résumé. I start somewhere different — with who you are. Everything else builds from that.
The MAP Framework is woven through my 1:1 coaching and programs offering different levels of support depending on where you are.
So, Sam, what exactly is professional coaching?
Coaching isn't advice. It's a process that helps you discover what you already know and go further than you thought you could on your own. Through honest conversation and the right questions, a good coach helps you find your own answers, whether you're navigating a career shift, a life decision, or just figuring out what's next.
The ICF, the International Coaching Federation is the global standard for professional coaching. An ACC credential means a coach has logged the required hours, passed an exam, and committed to a code of ethics.
